Status: indefinite hiatus. It really got too busy at work, and I'm exhausted/sick. I wanted to give up altogether, but that would suck so much because Ialready have invested time and energy on this, not to mention I won't be able to forgive myself for not seeing this through 'til the end. I also got some words of encouragement from friends concerning issues I currently have, so I am not abandoning this challenge. Before my head explodes, I'm taking a break from this until further notice. (I'm sorry.) Thank you for all the support you've given me so far, my friends. Art challenge will be back before you know it.

I haven't been doing as much art as I used to (not counting work-related stuff) and I am out of ideas for new artworks. In short, I am getting rusty, and this is definitely bad. I tried to get back to drawing, coloring, etc., but forcing myself to complete a simple piece every day didn't cut it for me. So I looked for another form of motivation and heard a few people mention the 100 Themes Art Challenge. They made a good list, so I'm going to do it! Except maybe for the strictly manga part of the challenge; I am not going to stick to any particular style.

Aside from doing all the themes in the challenge, I am imposing on myself the following rules:

1. I must complete each theme within a week (*gasp*)
2. I will complete the list in order
3. No matter how ugly the result is, I will post each artwork here on DA.

I'm doing this in a public place mainly for accountability. I'll be ashamed of myself if I fail this challenge in front of everyone. I know this isn't the best motivation around, but this will do for now. This should get my ass moving...

As I complete each theme, I will be linking each list item above to its corresponding artwork.

It's now Friday where I am, so by Friday next week I should have my 1st theme challenge artwork up already.
